Process
We re-engineered the standard detergent cap into a dual-purpose tool. Our design allows the user to easily detach the cap from an empty bottle and fit it onto a standard household faucet. Once attached, it functions as a high-performance aerator.
Results
The Upcycle Cap proved that small design changes can lead to massive global impacts. •70% Water Saving: Our aerator technology helps households reduce their daily water consumption by up to 70%. •Waste Reduction: By repurposing the cap, we extend the lifecycle of the plastic and prevent it from becoming immediate ocean or landfill waste.
